Prayer Requests
Eternal God,
Creator of heaven and earth, we come into Your presence today to give You thanks for another day of life, and for the many blessings we have received from Your bountiful hands. We ask You not to leave us nor forsake us, for without You we are nothing, and can do nothing!
Today our prayer is lifted in a special way on behalf of women who are the victims of violence at home, on the streets, in the workplace - wherever they are abused. We plead on their behalf for Your mercy to reach out and touch them! We cry out, oh God, please free them from the tyrants in their lives, or that are lurking around them, waiting for an opportunity to hurt them.
Have mercy on the rape victims, on those who have been abandoned to survive on their own with small children to care for, and no jobs. Remember those who have been made to feel worthless, with no future in sight! God, even now, please speak peace to them, as You spoke to the waves of the sea! Please give them ears to hear Your voice of love, and defuse the voice of anger and pain that have led them into the valley of despair! Please hide them from their perpetrators, and rescue them from all evil.
Give us, the on-lookers, not only a voice, and a pen, to fight their cause, but above all, give us a heart, and arms, and feet, to do all that can be done to help them. Give us the courage to speak out against this evil. May our pens be used by You to write against this destructive behavior. Give us sympathetic hearts that will be willing to reach out and embrace them. Give us feet that will be willing to march in protest against the wrong that is so hard to behold.
Finally, give us the unspeakable joy of seeing them free from all evil, and saved at last, in a kingdom where violence does not exist, because the God of love is Sovereign King of kings and Lord of lords! Until then, oh God, help us not to keep silent until the cry of abused women and all innocent victims, is silenced forever in the earth made new. In the name of Jesus Christ our Prince of Peace we humbly pray. Amen.

We will continue to pray for Britney Spears, that God might calm her spirit, and bring her peace. That she might experience the unconditional love of God, and find rest unto her soul. I thank God for the improvements that we have witnessed, and pray that by God’s grace, she will give her heart and life to the Lord, and experience a complete change. We would like to add Cristina Aguilera to this list as well. God is desirous of reaching these young people and saving them for his kingdom! Please keep them lifted up before the Throne of Grace.
The Caputo family has requested prayer for the members of their family. Please let us lift them up daily, as we pray for the other prayer requests.

I would like to ask others to join me in prayer for all neglected, abused, and abandoned children every where. They are helpless to help themselves and some too young to be able to seek help. I always ask the Lord our God to deliver them and subdue the abusers and to comfort these precious ones. I ask what I can do to help and for now I know to pray. This is quite a burden on my heart.
