Grace Will Abound!

And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work…” 2 Corinthians 9: 8, NIV (Emphasis provided).

Dear God, We rejoice to sit in Your presence! We are thrilled to study about Your grace! Teach us more, we pray, in the wonderful name of Jesus! Amen.

Have you noticed the abundance that exists in grace? Did you take note how many times the word “all” appeared in one verse? Four times! Hallelujah! You will notice, that included in this list, is the word “every,” which carries the same idea as all. You have heard me say this before:   All that we need, and will ever need, in order to be saved, is to be found in Jesus!  This is a truth that grows sweeter every day, and will never change! Yesterday, today, and forevermore, salvation, was, and is, by grace, through faith, in Christ Jesus our Lord!

From the Garden of Eden, to Golgotha, grace abounded! It was grace that gave hope to Adam and Eve, “I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between her seed and your seed…” (Genesis 3: 15)! It was grace that gave hope to the woman who was taken in adultery, “Neither do I condemn you” (John 8: 11). It was grace that gave hope to the thief on the cross, “I tell you today, you will be with Me in paradise” (Luke 23: 43). And it is in grace that  you will find hope!

There is no shortage of grace! God is able to make all grace abound! His grace will reach you wherever you are, and in whatever situation you may find yourself. Whatever you are going through, rest assured, that His grace will find you, and heal you. The promise is, that in all things; and, at all times; He will be there for you! How many thousands of years have passed since sin entered our planet; yet men and women, girls and boys, rich and poor; Jews and Gentiles, people everywhere, have been touched in different ways, and under different circumstances, by God’s grace.

Because we are recipients of grace, we should know no shortage. The promise is that, “having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. We should have no need of anything! There may be some wants, that may be left unmet. But according to the promise, by grace, we will have every need fulfilled; in order that we may “abound in every good work!” Praise be to God! No wonder the apostle could say, “I can do everything through him who gives me strength” (Philippians 4: 13, NIV, emphasis provided).

Have you experienced God’s grace in your life? If you have not, let me tell you that it is only a prayer away. If, by grace, you ask the Lord Jesus Christ to come into your life, He will come in and cover You, with His abundant grace!

Grace Will Abound!
