“Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, But a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands, And let her own works praise her in the gates” (Proverbs 31:30, 31).
Heavenly Father, thank You for allowing Women an entire chapter in Your love letter to the world, the Bible, to be able to watch the “Woman” in action! You are such a Wonderful God! A God of Love, Justice, Mercy, and Grace! Thoughtful and compassionate; mindful of those that the world look upon, as, “the least of these.” May Your Holy Spirit inspire us to continue living in accordance with Your perfect will for us. I love You Father, because You first loved me; and by Your grace, I will do my best, to live my life, to always give You, and only You, all the honor, glory, and praise, because it all belongs to You! I pray this, all in the precious, blessed, powerful, holy, Name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen, Amen, and Amen!
Well, we have come to the end of Proverbs 31, where we have had the opportunity, to watch the Virtuous Woman, living her life in society. Watching her efficiently, being, wife, mother, seamstress, excellent cook and housekeeper, business woman, strong, respected, honorable, and at the end of the day, loved and praised by her family!
Today, I believe, that what we are looking at, is what will be said of her, not by her family, or the community, or society, or the world, as a whole, when she comes to the end of life’s day. But by the Judge of all the earth, who saw her heart, her motives, and her efforts; knew all about her weaknesses and strengths, and how every act of hers, had an influence for good or evil, on those who she came in contact with. The Judge who knew her in a way, that, not even her family, nor her best friends knew her; perhaps in a way that not even she, knew herself.
As I read what I believe, will be her epitaph, written by the only One, who has all the facts, and the only One, who can truly evaluate our behavior, and pass an accurate judgment upon us, Jesus, I take HOPE!
On that day when all cases have already been tried by, The Wonderful, the Counselor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace, Jesus the Savior, Emmanuel God With Us, the Alpha, the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last, the Great I Am, the One Who Is, and Was, and Is to Come, returns, to give unto everyone, according to his or her work (Our works will not save us. “We are saved by having Jesus’ faith; in His grace.” And His works in us, are the result of our salvation!), May it be her joy, to hear the words of Jesus,
“. . . A woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands, And let her own works praise her in the gates” (the place of judgment)! Enter into the joy of your Lord!
May this be our blessed situation as well! This is my prayer for every woman! I hope you had a wonderful Women’s History Month! May the joy and blessings continue!
