It is here at last! The great and memorable inauguration day. A first in the history of the United States of America. Barack Obama is the first Afro-American to be elected president of the United States; and we are privileged to be alive to see it! I am thrilled! I believe that you will agree with me when I say that it is not just because Barack Obama is the first Afro-American to occupy the most powerful seat in the world that has created this atmosphere of hope and expectation; it is because of who he is. He is in the truest sense of the word, African and American because of his parents. He is a true family man: great husband and marvelous father. He seems to have a sincere love for all people. He has declared himself the president of all Americans. He is loved and admired by so many people because of who he is.
It is almost here! The greatest, and most memorable Coronation Day of all time. It will be the first and only one of its kind to take place in the entire universe. Jesus Christ will be the first and only, God-Man to sit upon the throne of God; and many of us who are alive today, will be privileged to see it. I am overjoyed! I am sure that you will agree with me when I say that it is not just because Jesus Christ is both God and Man, that His soon-coming has filled us with so much hope and joy; it is because of who He is! He is, in the truest sense of the word, God, because of His Father; and Man, because of His human mother, when He covered His divinity, with humanity. He is a faithful Son and the Big Brother par excellence! His love for the entire world became evident when He laid down His life to take it up again! He declared Himself, the Savior of the world! He is loved and worshipped by people in all the world, because of who He is!
I love the LORD because of what He represents in my life. During my many illnesses He has been my Great Physician. When studies, and life were more than I could handle, He cradled me in His arms, and gave me the strength to go forward. When He asked me to share His love with the world through this website, and I was afraid to accept the challenge, He assured me that He would be with me, and He has been faithful in keeping His promise! He gave me my first grandchild before Christmas, of 2007, in answer to a specific prayer, after I had been praying for approximately twelve years!
He is my merciful Savior! Oh what love! He is compassionate beyond our understanding! His faithfulness defies all human logic! Presidents will come and presidents will go. Kingdoms will rise and fall! But there will only be one King of kings and Lord of lords – King Jesus! He is my Savior and my God, and I love Him with all my heart, because of who He is!
