Holy Father, what a friend we have found in You. Holy, Powerful, Mighty to Save, yet willing to bow low, to listen to our prayers! So let us hear the conclusion of the matter, “I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well” (Psalm 139:14, emphasis provided).
Need I say anymore? You are okay being who you are! You are not a hurry up job, or a mistake! God took His time and formed you. You are God’s masterpiece. God inspired the psalmist David to include this psalm in the Book of Psalms to tell you and me, and all the children and youth, and adults, that He purposely, and carefully formed us in His image and likeness! And that He loves us just as we are! He also reminds us that we are ALL a work in progress!
Therefore:
- You choose your battles.
- You fight in your own armor.
- You decide to live in a positive atmosphere no matter what is taking place all around you.
- You were created as a one-of-a-kind, in the image and likeness of God, and that’s the way you like it.
- You and I are a work in progress, and every day, we have a choice to choose to be more and more like Jesus!
Therefore, we have no need to be like anyone else!
